I thought I'd give you a short dose of eye candy this afternoon, via the fabulous photos of Norwegian photographer Sveinung Bråthen. I've got an emerald wall - the colour of the year says Pantone, some black - via a chalkboard wall in a dining room, a matte black kitchen cabinets (SWOON!), a black painted sections to highlight art (always been a fan of that technique), a black wall behind a black leather sofa (HOT!) and a couple of other goodies.
It's not always about a de-saturated colour palette when it comes to Scandinavian photography. Not always. Sometimes it's about a richness, a vibrancy. But then again it really is about that de-saturated white on white. One or the other? How about both. I have been revisiting the portfolio of Malmö based photographer Marcus Lawett. And guess what? I'm still in love with his work. (You can see my previous post here.)
I thought I'd give you a taste of some eye candy this afternoon. Today's flavour is Armelle Habib, a photographer served up a couple of times by Jo here and here. YUMMY!

It's been far FAR too long since we have blogged the absolutely beautiful photography of British fella Ben Anders. His photos are captivating, making me want to experience each space for myself. Yep, he's my new photographer crush. (I am totally smitten with the photo above. Perfection)
The more photos I come across from Brazil, the more I want to finally visit this gorgeous country. The landscape is breathtaking, and it's inhabitants seem to be a creative, non-trend-following bunch of really cool people (holla at all our Brazilian followers!) . After having a looksie through the portfolio of photographer Alain Brugier, I am putting a trip to Brazil high on my bucket list.
