Beautiful light and clever composition make his work highly sort after by major magazines and for companies such as Williams Sonoma, West Elm, Design within Reach and Laura Ashley. His ability to capture the essence of a room is inspiring.

Ferguson & Katzman Photography is a St. Louis-based studio comprised of Scott Ferguson, Mark Katzman and Jay Baker. Beautiful work. I love how in each photo it looks like they waited until the natural light was at it's peak, making them so ethereal.

Henny van Belkom

Henny van Belkom began his career as an interior stylist, until he realized his passion was in photographing interiors: "Basically I'm enthusiastic, impulsive and a little restless: that's my nature. But when I look through the lens and focus on my subject, I find peace. The exposure time of the camera gives me space to enjoy the moment and the serenity enables me to create atmosphere in my pictures." I am finding peace in the photo above (LOVE that colour).

Chiaroscuro

Husband and wife photographers Gentl & Hyers have a way with light that takes me back to the works of the Old Masters. Chiaroscuro, light and shade, positive and negative. The air is thick in their photos like treacle and colours have a tangible presence. It's like the photos are caught in amber or that the white light is thick like milk. Beautiful portfolio. Their black and white work is a must see.

Scandinavian expressions

Stunning images from photographer Birgitta Wolfgang Drejer who specializes in interior and lifestyle photography. Her work featuring regularly in Danish and international shelter magazines as well as her own series of books. Birgitta photographs light so beautifully while conveying the mood of a room. I'm blown away by the Scandinavian style she captures through her lens. Her understanding of the meaning of a space is apparent. Love it all! Don't miss her snow series in her portfolio. Gorgeous.
