Monday's pets on furniture

If you would like to participate in the Monday's pets on furniture series please send photos, your name, location and a brief description to kim[@]desiretoinspire[.]net. Thanks!

This is Rhody our sweet border collie puppy. So much for "no dogs on the couch" rule. This couch is a favorite nap spot for both our dogs, right off the kitchen it's in the hub of our home so he can nap but not miss anything!
- Debbie (Rhode Island)

A couple of years ago I sent you picture of our beloved Elvis. He passed away a year ago. Since June we have now welcomed George (named after Mister Harrisson). Please find two pictures of his favorite spots: the kids chair we found on a flee market and the washing machine.
- Margaux (Geneva, Switzerland

2 yr old chocolate schnauzer getting comfy any way she can. I find her in some of the craziest positions.
- Gail (Ft Worth, TX)

Hi, I'm Willow and I used to not be allowed on the couch. After jumping on coffee tables and chewing my owners feet became my favorite hobby, they finally caved. Now I get most the pillows and whatever spot on the couch I want.
- Patrick (Massachusetts)

Kerkos (ancient Greek word that means tail) snoozing on the sofa. He'll later hop off and soberly ask for a treat and a walk
- Natalia (Greece)

A photo from me of former-feral Frankie chilling out in the guest bedroom that I need to paint soon because that mauve is terrible. Bedding by Aura (via The Bay) and satin pillow from Homesense.

Monday's pets on furniture

Here is Cooper, (named for Alice Cooper) our 7 month old standard poodle hanging out in his favorite spot on our Ligne Roset Nomade sofa. He has a bad habit of hiding his toys behind the cushions. Later he'll jump back up and toss the cushions all over the room to retrieve the toys. What a clown.
- LeeDon (Dallas, TX)

Gala and Tena, two miniature schnauzers, just like their owner, love winter only from cozy living room, so they spent their lazy days sleeping and catching any possible sun.
- Nina (Zagreb, Croatia)

My Christmas project was to reupholster this chair. I used a blue velvet and quilted it for fun. Biggles, my cat, likes it. Hubby thinks it is a granny chair. Italian flower mirror on wall.

Monday's pets on furniture

If you would like to participate in the Monday's pets on furniture series please send photos, your name, location and a brief description to kim[@]desiretoinspire[.]net. Thanks!

this is my one eye cat, her name is street (she was found at the streets) and now she is a fancy girl and loves a designer chair!
- Marcos (Brazil)

Here is my cat Whiskey lying on our bookshelf and squished in between the lamp and sculpture, and in front of one of my art pieces.  He loves to be right in the middle of everything all the time and seems to have no idea of his size.
- Alison

Katniss presides over Otis the Pig: She showed up while my home was under renovations and decided I would be her human. I never really liked cats, but I live to serve Her Majesty's every need.
- Carmen (South Carolina)

My best bud Jock Belyeu, cairn terrier, on his favorite spot in the living room.
- Michelle (Yukon, Oklahoma)

I took this photo yesterday morning. It is amazing to see former feral Bernie be so comfortable that I can go right up to him and snap a bunch of photos (I got much closer after this one) and he could not care less. He is in a corner of the dining room snoozing on my Plycraft chair that I unfortunately feel the need to cover with a faux sheepskin because the cats take over all of my lounge chairs. And a Daff Design vintage radio converted into a Bluetooth speaker is to the right, used every night at dinner time so hubby and I don't have to listen to each other chew. :)

Monday's pets on furniture

If you would like to participate in the Monday's pets on furniture series please send photos, your name, location and a brief description to kim[@]desiretoinspire[.]net. Thanks!

This is our shy Olivia posing on the buffet under a painting I made of her father, a nomad white cat that visited our street and left us with this blue-eyed beauty...
- Ogenia (Israel)

My daughter's cat, Tito loves the yellow chair in my studio.
- Anna (Campbellville, ON)

This is Cooper and Simcoe. Simcoe loves to snuggle on Cooper, and don't let this look of indifference fool you!
- Crystal

This is Monty our Burman on an arthide ottoman, and LouLou a Visler/border collie cross both are 13 years old and much loved members of our family
- Lynette (Tasmania, Australia)

some other pictures of kasimir, who also seems to like very unusual spots... like our washbasin... or the niche above the couch in our living room, playing egyptian cat-god aside our african sculpture of a very thin man... and his favorite summertime spot underneath the garden table, there
he can sleep in the shade
- heike (graz, austria)

And from me - one of Felix's favourite pastimes is driving me nuts while I blog. I got up for another cup of coffee one Saturday morning, turned around and snapped this photo (and I see this was taken before my floors were refinished = !!!!!!!).
