Sunday inspiration

I was poking around Marie Claire Maison yesterday and came across a few homes that really captured my attention so I thought I would share a couple of them. This Marrakech home has gorgeous features that are typical of Moroccan architecture but the owners have spiced things up with some mid-century modern furnishings. I wanted to share this monochromatic dream of a home with you today because often black/white/grey and concrete don't get the praise they deserve. The clean lines, simple architecture and modern furnishings paired with the glorious Dinesen wood floors (my absolute favourite of all time) make this 371 m2 home in Risskov, Denmark by architecture firm Ardess completely blog worthy. Hazel + Brown - the white house

Vancouver based interior design firm Hazel + Brown is new-to-me and certainly one I will be keeping my eye on. Melanie and Ben Finkleman have taken a white modern box and given it a simple, relaxed yet chic makeover with some really cool artwork, bits of bright colour accents and some mid-century modern classic furnishings. The result is really youthful and energizing.
