Serious loft love

I am still lusting over lofts and even though I have shared some of these photos before I have not shared this loft as a whole yet and absolutely needed to. A weathered wood delight with the most beautiful art gallery wall in the living room, with a sexy staircase, even sexier bathtub and a sweet rooftop patio....I'm seriously dying over this loft. Stalking old school

I'm in the Sydney suburb of Annandale stalking an old school warehouse conversion. Not one of those new-build, pseudo industrial blocks with cookie cutter "loft" apartments. No I'm stalking an artist's studio and home with suspended concrete, open ceilings and clear span space. There are mezzanine floors, plywood walls, a glass tilt door and walls crammed with amazing art. It's a bit gritty, a bit grubby and it's fabulous. Please Mr Bank Manager can you lend me the outrageous asking price of $3.5 million? Link here while it lasts.

(P.S. Thanks to my stalking buddy Anne for the link.)

A New York City loft

Another project by Threshold Interiors I had to share because it's SO nice to see a loft not decorated with an industrial vibe. Here the beams are exposed and left natural, the brick is painted white and the new kitchen (which unfortunately covers some of those glorious windows) is classic in design. The result is much more homey and charming.

Dineen Architecture + Design

Some fabulous modern, lofty vibes by New York City based Joan Dineen of Dineen Architecture + Design. Making me want to go steal some pink flowering branches from a neighbour's tree. ;)

Carroll Gardens by Tamara Eaton

NYC based designer Tamara Eaton does not follow trends so her interiors are often eclectic and unexpected. This home with its traditional details in a loft-like setting is unpredictable, but then add in Tamara's unique assortment of styles in the decor and you have something that is whimsical yet sophisticated.
