Those Londoners and their Victorians

This Victorian home located in Streatham, South West London is an absolute dream. The fireplaces, original moldings and plasterwork, the painted wooden floorboards, the shutters....all of these details give me heart palpitations. I am a bit disappointed about the modern kitchen = something more in keeping with the period of the house would have been much more pleasing to the eye. But I'll forgive the homeowners because OMG this home has a summerhouse in the backyard. !!!!! Via jj Locations.

Livin' large and minimalist in London. This location home available via Shoot Factory is a total stunner and has so much potential to be absolutely fabulous (sorry homeowners but you missed the mark on some spaces, like the living room. Replace those awful sofas please!).

A Queen Ann period location home

There is something about original detail in period homes (especially in the U.K.) that gets me every time. There is nothing really to write home about with respect to the decor in this home, except maybe the collection of kitchenware, but I mostly wanted to share this home because of the vestibule foyer. A converted school house in Battersea

When you would expect someone decorating a converted lofty school house to go the industrial route but instead they go with a classic Scandinavian/shabby chic look. Kudos to the owners of this home in Battersea, London for going against the grain on this one, and for the very impressive collection of antiques. And for the cute dog. This is really beautiful.
