Every room in this 5 bedroom completely renovated home in Brixton, London is total eye candy and so perfectly decorated. Whimsical, energetic and refreshing are words that come to mind. Little bits of fun with the addition of colour, some graphic wallpaper, tile work, art and some bold pieces of furniture. LOVE THIS. Another gem of a location home available via Shoot Factory.
Nestled within 66 acres of beautifully manicured gardens and parkland in Tunbridge Wells, England is Hepburn House, a manor befitting a queen. Or a princess. Or a really high-paid actress. The decor is fairly minimal and essentially all white so it frankly is underwhelming but what I can say is that helps to not distract from the glorious details like many fireplaces, panelled walls, incredibly detailed plasterwork, 12' ceilings, massive windows and dark wood floors. The rooms are SO BIG. What a dream home this would be to decorate. You could fit anything anywhere. *SIGH* Another location home available via Shoot Factory.
Oh, to have such a space where in one afternoon you can totally rearrange everything you own. The joys of living in lofts and conversions. This 1935 former school canteen/science lab/art department in the U.K. is an incredible space - 2,000 sq ft arranged over two floors, plus a 1,000 sq ft roof terrace featuring to-die-for steel windows throughout and equally to-die-for original pine herringbone flooring. Another British gem of a location home I came across via Shoot Factory. This 4 bedroom home has been restored whilst maintaining many of the original features. Check out come of those floorboards! Also loving the unpainted exposed ceiling beams and plaster walls. And that kitchen is a total dream. So much potential outdoors too. So lovely.
I think I have a new item for my bucket list - move to the U.K. and live in one of these absolutely glorious Victorian homes I continue to die over. This one I especially love because would you look at the kitchen!!! It's soooo pretty - and I am smitten with the brass details including the backsplash (I want to do this badly) and chandelier.
