Crazy/kooky/adore

Talk about a crazy mixed up space. This fabulous 4 floor Victorian era house has a distinct style on each level. Funky futurist 60s, white, light and cavernous climbs to elegant French grandeur with panelling and high high ceilings on the first floor. The second floor is pretty and feminine while the third is a cool 70s den of design. The perfect house for when you can't quite make up your mind what style you're feeling today. Oh and I'm head over heels for that curly cane headboard(?) as a stair rail.

Someone rocked this place out

Check out this South Beach loft that has quite the rock/punk decor scheme. It's 1250 sq. ft. with a 600 sq ft. terrace, and is available for photo shoots. I imagine some parties have been had in this place. (Note: it's got my favourite carpet of all time in the living room).

British beauties

I am totally smitten with how eclectic British interiors can be. There seem to be so many very old homes with lots of stone and mill work, which lends such a beautiful backdrop to any furnishings. The following photos are from a UK film locations site.

Love this house

5 floor, fully panelled Huguenot silk weaver's house built in 1722 with high ceilings, wooden cornices, lime plastering, broad 18th c floorboards, stone flags in kitchen, open fires on all floors, beautiful light and high walled landscaped back garden, in Spitafields, East London. The description is an intriguing teaser but doesn't quite prepare you for this amazing house. Beautiful architecture matched if not outshone by midcentury classic furniture and a quirky courageous style. Yet another gorgeous location house. This one from jj locations. I love it.

I want to live here.

I've loved this house ever since we featured the dining room way back in April. This time the photos are from another location company Dixcot Locations and more of this amazing house is revealed. I'd move in tomorrow if I could. Glamour, design classics, acrylic and quirky touches make this place just too cool. Even a lovely mature garden with a rusted antique bench. The whole place is wonderfully flamboyant and fabulous. London here I come. And if I can't make it then at least I can revisit this favourite over and over here.
