City garden inspiration

Spring has sprung right into summer in my part of the world. It's going to be a perfect weekend to get serious in my garden. I need a little inspiration for the patio just outside my kitchen and I think I've found just what I need. Love this courtyard garden and patio in Sydney's Woolloomooloo by landscape architects and designers Outdoor Establishments. Alfresco dining, chilling and a great retro and reuse vibe. Don't think I'll need the fire pit and throw just right now but they will be perfect when the summer blast has gone. Love the big square tubs full of Sansevieria out the front too.

Australians love the great outdoors. We'll do anything to get out of the house. We love the beach. We love the bush. We love our local park. But most of all we love our own back yards. Outside our homes is just as important as inside. It's not hard to understand considering our wonderful weather. This is what Australians would call the perfect inner city backyard. May not be big but it's packed full of family fun and guaranteed to bring out the green eyed monster in your friends. Outdoor kitchen, fireplace, AV hub to watch the cricket and portable lounge. Spa, lap pool and a plywood clad bunker with lounges, planter and recessed bar fridge for the wine and beer.
