It's almost the weekend and it's time to party. Put on a disc from a disco diva and pour yourself a drink. I love this Miami apartment by L.A. based design firm Studio Hus. Offbeat and upbeat, vintage and high end, retro and right now. It's the rebirth of 80's cool.
Not your ordinary bachelor pad in the Sydney suburb of Queenscliff by Jillian Dinkel Designs. Public areas in the renovated apartment are bright and light with a touch of retro cool while a more moody palette is just right for the bedroom. I'm loving the built-in seating in the small courtyard. Perfect for entertaining.
Really I think everyone should have a boudoir. I know I do. And it's shouldn't just be the private escape of women. Let's extend the joy of having a "sulking room" to gentlemen as well. I need to up my boudoir game though to reach the heady decadence of this fabulous retreat designed by Patrick Mele.
This 2 bedroom Park Slope apartment by BHDM design with its high contrast black and white colour palette, rich tobacco brown leather and brass highlights is a stylish example of cosmopolitan cool. Edgy and urbane, sophisticated and oh so smooth.
