Working on a Saturday
It's like I say week after week. If you have to drag yourself into work on a weekend it helps that it's somewhere that looks great! Bibliophile by Mindy Gayer.

Last month I featured a project by Arizona interior designer Jaimee Rose. I love her style so I thought I'd share a random assortment from other projects she's worked on. Before I leave you to enjoy this eye candy, I have to point out the fabulous light fixtures in the photo above. Would love one of those in the center of my living room. Also love her because she used my favourite wallpaper by Ellie Cashman.
A monochromatic palette of black and white with accents of rich cognac provides the starting point for designer Timothy Godbold to create the ultimate bachelor pad at One Hundred Barclay. Iconic vintage pieces like the Soriana sofa by Tobia Scarpa for Cassina and the futuristic Kappa chairs provide that edgy design cred and a sophiticated urban luxury. Bold, chic, masculine.
(Is everyone keeping up with the growing trend of vintage Italian furniture pieces especially from the 70s and 80s? It's killing me.)
When Mindy Gayer reimagined this Napa Valley farmhouse for her clients she infused it with a fresh, fun feel with more than a nod to its iconic 60s ranch style and the owners' childhood memories of surf and vineyard. A bright, light and lovely family home from this Orange County interior designer.
LLI Design recently completed a total redesign and refurbishment of a 7 storey townhouse in Highgate, a leafy and desirable part of London. By changing the dynamics of the spaces involved they maximized the available space creating a colourful and contemporary residence. This award winning project has a harmonious feel as you move up the house, but each floor has its own character. The end result? A warm and inviting family home.
