Just a few more houses from Sydney interior designer Karen Akers. The first, in Roseville, is a finalist in the 2013 Dulux Colour Awards. The second, in Gladsville, made the same finals in 2012 and was shortlisted for the Australian Interior Design Awards as well. Traditional and contemporary. Light, bright and colourful. A Miami condo

Ruben Gutierrez of Errez Design sent us photos of one of his latest projects - a sweet condo in midtown Miami that affords fabulous views of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami. Ruben utilized a combination of new pieces with antiques and vintage finds to create this eclectic and glamorous vibe. It's colourful, sassy, and I love it - especially the mirrored dining nook. Javier's holiday home update

Back in July of 2011 blogged the Spanish holiday home of interior designer and artist Javier Requejo. Javier emailed the other day to let us know his home was recently featured in Elle Decor España. The stellar photos and styling knock this already fabulous home out of the ballpark. I just had to share this version with you all since the first round was such a hit, and it's pretty neat to be able to see what it takes to make a home magazine-worthy. (P.S. Javier now has a blog).
