Black, blue and brass
Chic and polished in a colour palette of black, navy blue and brass. This home is absolutely gorgeous, and I think I am now suffering from wallpaper envy. Another stunning project by Venice Beach designer Katherine Carter.

I think I have a new item for my bucket list - move to the U.K. and live in one of these absolutely glorious Victorian homes I continue to die over. This one I especially love because would you look at the kitchen!!! It's soooo pretty - and I am smitten with the brass details including the backsplash (I want to do this badly) and chandelier. I really REALLY love this. Located in Stamford, Lincolnshire and is available as a location home through Shoot Factory.
Beige, white, gold, tan, brass, brown, sand....all of these colours together make for such a warm, sophisticated and polished space. With the assemblage of gorgeous furnishings by the oh-so-talented Brian Paquette, this condo is a beauty.

I have another reader submission for you, and this one comes from Carl-Johan who sent us a link to a story of this incredible home. 9 cylinders make up this structure designed by Swedish architect Jan Henrik Jansen for use as his summer home. It is absolutely stunning inside with brass details (hellooooo island!) and the exterior landscape with repeating circle motif is so picturesque. Via Buggahus. (Thanks Carl-Johan!)
Or perhaps that should be Office Wilde, Oscar Wilde. It certainly has drama and flair. A touch OTT from its patterned cow hide rug and statement brass desk to the flamboyant Timorous Beasties wallpaper. Just can't see Wilde 's famous last words "Either this wallpaper has to go or I do" being muttered in this room. Taking its inspiration from the Cult of Beauty and the Aesthetic movement "The Pavonia Room” is by San Francisco based Geoffrey De Sousa Interior Design.
