A dreamy bathroom

Sweet jeezus this bathroom is an absolute DREAM! Via Minosa. The clients were searching for a fresh contemporary space that better utilised their small bathing space. The client wanted the bathroom to be connected to the dressing room which was located next to the ensuite and the bedroom there after. They wanted a good use of artificial light as the bathroom had NO window. The client did not like grout as was searching for a seamless product to apply to all walls and the shower floor. The designers choose to remove the wall between the dressing room and the ensuite and in its place installing the Rimidesio sliding (oversized) door system, and an engineered Oak floor. The two main focal points are the stunning Antonio Lupi freestanding bath and the floating wall hung Vanity unit with the very impressive Gessi Goccia tapware and oversized basins. The faucets and tub filler are so gorgeous!!!

Jennifer Worts new stuff

It's been quite some time since we featured Toronto interior designer Jennifer Worts. I see she's been hard at work perfecting her craft, and I am a huge fan of the less classic, more contemporary vibe she has gone with. I feel like I should give her the title of the Canadian Queen of Kitchens and Bathrooms because WOWZERS, they are spectacular. Each space is totally magazine worthy. (Stay tuned later for cottage spaces like you've never seen!)

Mesmerised

Is it wrong to be mesmerised by a powder room? Walls like smoke swirls or dye unwinding in water. If this was mine I'd be worried that I would spend far too much time in there sitting, lost in the eddies of the Aura wallpaper by Trove. Found in the portfolio of Sutro Architects.

Showering in the rain forest

Minimalist in the extreme and as far away from a simple shower in a rain forest as you could imagine but that's all I can think of as I stare in wonder at this bathroom by Dutch interior architects Jasper Jansen and Jeroen Dellensen of i29. The hum of insects and enough humidity from the shower and I'd be there.
