Stalking a magazine editor's house

Oooh now it feels creepy. My real estate stalking takes me, in most part, to strangers' homes and, yes, in this case the owner is still a stranger but it feels like I know him. I'm stalking the Surry Hills house of Vogue Living's (and late of Belle magazine) editor-in-chief Neale Whitaker. At first I didn't realise but the two weimaraners were a give away as was the Gillie and Marc portrait. It's a stylish, light-filled two bedroom terrace house full of books and wonderful artwork. Almost worth a trip to Sydney to attend an open house. No I couldn't be that creepy. For auction here through BresicWhitney.

Camilla Molders Design

The bold and the beautiful. That's what I should have called this post. Melbourne-based interior designer Camilla Molders creates clean-lined, contemporary rooms with something extra. Bold colour, bespoke fixtures and furniture, beautiful textiles and her signature custom rugs. "Every project I work on is different as every client is different and being their home, it should be a space that truly suits them and their lifestyles! My job is to hold their hand, push their boundaries, but still create a space that is inspiring." And they are Camilla ... very inspiring.

Stalking a loggia

I'm stalking a 1920's Hollywood-style Spanish Mission residence in Melbourne's exclusive suburb of South Yarra. Although there are a few things I would change here and there I am smitten by the loggia, the art, those ceilings and the grounds. Do watch the video. It makes the house look so much better. Weekend getaway

In my dreams you'll find me here, kicking off my weekday worries at the door like a pair of shoes. My hardest decision at this Palm Beach house on Sydney's Northern Beaches would be whether to stay in or venture down to the village or perhaps to one of the two beaches just minutes from the door. In my dreams life is really tough. You don't have to use your imagination though. The Pavilion House is available for holiday let through Contemporary Hotels.
