Stalking a modern take on old

Another day another stalking. You'd never guess from its rather unassuming 19th century facade that this inner Sydney terrace house is actually an ultra modern home. Open yet private

Clever use of large sliding battened screens to provide seclusion and light control while expansive glass doors push wide open to reach out to the views where privacy is not an issue. Stylish subtropical living in Bardon, Brisbane by architectural firm bureau^proberts.

What? More stalking?

Louvers

The garden is a stylish inner city oasis of grasses, climbers and exposed brick. And then you notice that the back gate/wall is made of adjustable louvers. Clever! Parkville garden by Eckersley Garden Architecture.
