One more from Sydney-based Decus Interiors because ... well I just can't get enough of their intelligent, curated,simply beautiful homes. Killcare House is a dramatic home away from home on the edge of a national park by the sea. What more could you want?
Beautiful muted tones with accents of bronze. The luxury of a simple, elegant, pared back. Good design doesn't need to be out there and big, big, big. Good design is about making a positive (and stylish) impact on how a client lives. It's obvious that Decus Interiors have created an exquisite and carefully crafted home in Sydney's North Bondi.
Like cotton candy come to life, a Footscray apartment by Melbourne-based BoardGrove Architects is splashed with the "it" colour Millennial Pink, the perfect counterpoint to its austere concrete shell. As sweet as sweet can be.
Artwork, killer vignettes, vintage pieces and loads of personality. What's not to love about this house by AZBcreative? It's traditional with a twist, casual but carefully curated, visually rich and layered with every vignette ready to tell its story.
Dating from the 1820s this historic stone barn in Tasmania has been lovingly restored by its architect owners. The award winning conversion keeps as much of the existing building fabric as possible. "The original sandstone walls are exposed both internally and externally. The timber shingled roof and existing beams contrast with the new kitchen and bathroom insertion. The Barn is light and open, yet simultaneously cosy." Located in Hobart's CBD it's the perfect base for exploring the historic Australian city. It's definitely on my bucket list.
