Calling all gorgeous Brisbane homes!

You oughta to be in pictures ... you oughta be a star! Heads up Bris Vegas readers. A Sydney stylist is heading up to Brisbane to photograph great homes and if you think your place has what it takes then send me a quick email here. Will need to see pictures but what we need is a link to them like your Flickr page, blog, Facebook etc. Didn't you always want to be in the magazines? Here's your chance. I'm sulking because my new old house has gone nowhere as far as renovations go. Painter isn't starting now until May . It's the plasterer's fault, too much work, blah, blah, blah ... one day my prince (painter) will come!

Eclectic dreams

Now here's a different take on Swedish white. A huge loft in Stockholm with soaring ceilings, skylights to dream about, a bookcase that makes my heart sing and a roaring fireplace. Eclectic is definitely the vibe here. Contemporary married with fine antiques, throw in tribal pieces and oriental finds, Scandi design and open plan on a grand scale and I'm hooked. Wouldn't you love to snoop through the bookcase, pick up the knick knacks and turn them over, ask to crank the stereo way up. It may not be the place you'd want to make your home but don't you just want to party! Oh imagine ... night time, low light, fire burning, wine in hand and favourite music ... and a couple of dozen of your best friends. For sale here. (Thanks for the link Daniela!)

It's only Wednesday and after yesterday I was seriously ready to throw in the towel, catch a flight to some godforsaken island and never come back. My day job can be a bit stressful here and there but OMG this week has been taxing on my patience. But I made it through without going completely loco, and all I want to post today are some really pretty photos. Is that too much to ask for? I think not.
