A traditional green, marble and brass kitchen

I found this deVOL kitchen the other day on JJ Locations and I was completely shocked to discover how much I really REALLY love it. It could be because living in a traditional home for a couple of years now is rubbing off on me, or the fact that my kitchen can barely fit 2 people standing in it so anything roomy makes me envious. This kitchen is situated in a 1846 Victorian in London, and while I would consider changing a couple of things (that sofa in the corner isn't working - I love the idea of a settee just not that one, the table is missing a bench and I would paint out the inside of that hutch black and fill it with white dishes), this is the best take on a traditional kitchen I think I have ever seen. I don't even really like green and I love this. Crazy!

Sea Cliff home

I tend to love bold colour palettes (ie. dark) but this house has totally thrown me for a loop. I absolutely adore the neutral shades of this home designed by SVZ Interior Design. It is so bright and soothing yet classy and elegant. This project was a full remodel that included a new guest house, master bathroom, kitchen and guest bathrooms. The whole home was refreshed with paint colors and light fixtures as well as a complete furnishing design. The style that the home homeowner wanted was neutral but textural; classic but interesting. We layered many elements of traditional, transitional, modern and eclectic furnishings to make the space feel timeless. (For more of Sayre Victoria Ziskin's work check out this post)

Urban Cowboy Nashville

From the folks who bought you the Urban Cowboy B&B in Brooklyn comes their partner (or should that by "howdy partner") property in Nashville. So hip it hurts. A riot of pattern and colour where high Victorian meets Wild West meets artisan and kitsch. Time to round up the posse and make trails to Tennessee for a getaway.
