• Modern eco-friendly furniture designed and made in Atlanta Georgia. Joe Manus calls it dirty, sexy, clever and dark. He named it Shiner (as in black eye). I call it stylish.

 

• It's about snuggling up on the couch with a gorgeous pillow, using the good napkins everyday, having a pretty tea towel hanging in the oven door. It's about Pony Rider.

Can I describe photographs as clean and minimal? Refreshingly simple but cleverly composed. Spare elegant spaces captured in an instant. Messages cleverly conveyed through a lens. This room is graceful, that design is effortless, unforced and natural. All these thoughts tumble through my mind as I view photographer Mark Eden Schooley's work. Honest and beautiful. Galley kitchens

I figured it was about time for another reader request. This one comes from Marisa: "We bought a 1950's house a few years ago and are (finally) ready to start planning our kitchen renovation. It's terrible! Three layers of stick-on tiles, fake wood countertops, "custom" lighting. However, most inspiration kitchens are open plan, while ours is galley - and no potential to be otherwise because every wall in this house is cement block. Weird! Would you be willing to find some galley kitchen inspiration photos?" Simple enough request. Here ya go Marisa! (OMG aren't cement walls a b*tch?!)
