Mark Eden Schooley

Can I describe photographs as clean and minimal? Refreshingly simple but cleverly composed. Spare elegant spaces captured in an instant. Messages cleverly conveyed through a lens. This room is graceful, that design is effortless, unforced and natural. All these thoughts tumble through my mind as I view photographer Mark Eden Schooley's work. Honest and beautiful. Real and remarkable. P.S. Has green ever been so beautiful?

I'm not sure that green has ever been so beautiful. All these images are beautiful. He has also certainly photographed some amazing spaces. Those orange wire chairs are pretty amazing!

I love the hand painted green pillows on the bed - they're beautiful.

My mum does a range of dying of her handspun wool and alpaca so I've seen what a real talent it takes to create unique textiles like that.

Who made the pillows?

All the best,
Belinda

Those green throw pillows look like mini paintings, art within art.

Love the pillows too! I've been thinking about trying to hand paint som fabric for a curtain for quite a while now. Inspirational! I really enjoyed the other photos too. Thanks for sharing!

gorgeous photos, for sure. but what I really have my eye on is those amazing painted pillows in the first photo! anyone know who makes them or something similar?

that first one is genius... all those blues and greens, dreamy-dreamy, then the POP of the book cover. Who put that book there? A GENIUS.

Be still my beating heart. That basket and stool so casual in the corner, those orange chairs, that little red bed, that carpet, that tree trunk table, that green. Utter utter bliss.
