They call it "Industrial Williamsburg/Adirondack/Cowboy Sensibility". I call it cool. Would you believe this is a Brooklyn townhouse? Hell no. Better still it's a B&B and there is even a log cabin out back. Time to pack the bags, check in and soak up the hipster vibes. Welcome to Urban Cowboy B&B.
Seen in the June/July issue of Belle magazine and admired, no more like greedily coveted, Fairbairn Rd House by Inglis Architects. Open plan, restrained palette, beautiful light, repetitive brick pattern facade and the warmth of wood. Casual, stylish, pared back, modern.

Alexandra Loew's work was featured by Jo a couple of months ago and I thought I would revisit it because she has such a talent for creating traditional spaces with a spunky twist. Interiors for discerning individuals and brands which embody visions they had always dreamed of, but never could have imagined. A master of detail, color and history, she sets moods through the juxtaposition of styles, materials and the assembly of important collections. So lovely, and my favourites to come in a later post.

Like a little indie jewel box for an indie jewellery designer. The cutest bijou shop in Melbourne by Inglis Architects for Lucy Folk. I couldn't pass by. I would just have to pop in.
