A fresh and colourful take on traditional

Bright yellow walls, grahic patterned curtains and stripes add some pretty bold and playful touches to this other wise fairly traditional home in California. Julie Goldman of J.Latter Design took things up a notch. Several notches really.

I like this one. It's about fabric weight. Rarely mentioned. The blue linen/silk? velvet texture with the lighter weight pillows, chair,
makes an informal room as oppose to weight that is even throughout is a more formal look.

And the railroading on the smaller sofa so nicely done. Love the blue and orange. With blue dominating cooler and orange secondary
in a complmentary color scheme.
