Wunderkammer

I have pretty much died and gone to heaven. This home is a combination of all the things I adore - dark colours, vintage everything, collections. A genuine cabinet of curiosities, a wunderkammer, a visual delight. This is what a home should be. Filled with found items, something intriguing at every turn, eclecticism to the max. This is the Amsterdam home of Florian Seyd and Ueli Signer of famed flower/design shop aptly named The Wunderkammer. Via Architectural Digest Spain, photos by Marc Van Praag.

Thank you for your beautiful posts...always something to look forward to.
Do you know where the goldfish wallpaper is from?

I too love the goldfish wallpaper. I also adore collected vintage spaces but there are too many dead creatures here for my taste!

Love the colors, not a huge fan of dead animal parts everywhere, that aspect is a little macabre for my personal taste. Like everyone else I love the goldfish wallpaper though and want that teal blue paint for my current bathroom renovation.

Beautiful - but again what is with animal remnants everywhere?.

I unfortunately don't know who makes that wallpaper. It's stunning!!! (I think those are koi not goldfish)

Love your sight, but sad you find a decor with so many rare and endangered animal parts so inspiring.

To each their own - I personally would prefer to not have taxidermy animals in my home but I can see beyond that and appreciate all the gorgeousness this home has to offer.

...so that when the last of it's kind in the wild disappears into extinction, the homeowners will have it's sad, dead carcass as a reminder

I could quite happily live in the room at the top, stunning colours.

Wunderkammer sell the wallpaper (exclusively) and the taxidermy!
