A Nantucket beach house in white and grey

Threshold Interiors took a beautiful Nantucket, MA beach house and turned it into an elegant retreat in shades of white and grey, all the while keeping it comfortable and family-friendly. The kitchen is an absolute dream - love the stove!

They are tile magicians! What ever they create they use the most beautiful tiles in exactly the right way. Great stuff. Can I please have a tile subscription?

Kim, I was wondering: this interesting kind of taps and wash basin that can be seen in the last photo, is that typical for Northern America or at least the USA? I haven't seen anything like it in Europe so far.

@Anke - I'm signing me up for that tile subscription too! As for the taps - I'm in Canada so speaking for me those sinks are not overly popular here (I LOVE THEM!) and the faucet looks like it is shaped for that style of sink (as you don't normally mount a faucet to the back of a sink). The industrial/schoolhouse sort of vibe has been popular the past few years in the U.S. and this type of sink I have seen fairly regularly in my blog research. My only thing is they offer no counter space so they don't seem very practical to me. I'd love to use smaller version of this (with 1 tap) in a powder room where storage is no issue.

Anke, I've seen these sinks in very old homes, we actually had one in the laundry room. They are usually cast iron I believe.

Meant to add that I'm in the U.S.
