Island Retreat

It's American Gothic (painting) meets American Pickers (television). It's dramatic and moody and quirky and fun.It's intimate spaces and soaring ceilings. It's theatre and performance, oasis and sanctuary. It's John Mellencamp's Island Retreat in South Carolina by interior designer Monique Gibson and it's fabulous.

This is just outstanding!!! I am amazed by the color discipline but they still managed to make every room interesting and unique. Well done!

Sorry, but pictures 3 and 4 remind me of a prison. Other areas are very pleasant
