Hmm. Nice. But nothing special designer about it.
When you think of the former narrow, dark, warren of small spaces this home would have had I believe (unlike the former comment) that this house has been truly transformed. I say well done to the new owners of a light-filled and happy space to be in.
I like that a smaller place is shown. This little gem is a blank space waiting to be unified with the beautiful exterior with a few older beautiful furniture, colour. The kind of spaces I would have taken when I sold my house and scaled down three years ago.
It takes a lot of discipline to decorate in such a sparse way and let the architecture speak for itself (particularly over the fireplace -- I'd feel compelled to add a mantle and a painting!). I like the result; particularly the roof deck and the dining area leading out to the patio. However, I'm left wondering where the two kids sleep?
