A 1400s Tuscan farmhouse gets a modern makeover

Take an ancient stone farmhouse in Tuscany - add some subtle modern additions then furnish it with some art deco style furniture with accents of brass and some glamorous glass light fixtures. What you end up with is one of the dreamiest homes I have ever seen. Via Bo Bedre, photos by Monica Spezia.

Alas, I think that brickwork over the windows is a travesty. Can't imagine how that would look good on the outside anymore than it does on the inside.
