Light and dark

Effortlessly beautiful with light flooding in through impossibly tall windows. Elegantly serene with a white on white palette. What could be better than this stylish living room with beni ourain rug and ornate fireplace by New York based designer Tom Delavan? Perhaps a dark and moody bedroom with Tuareg rug and ornate fireplace?

What a statement - the dark curtains in the living room! That was something unexpected! Also the light fixture in the bathroom is to die for.

I would like to see more of the last light fixture (is that a kitchen?). If that is a kitchen, is the little two-burner stove all there is, in such an otherwise grand place?
The fireplaces are amazing.
I'm sick of beni ourain rugs.

I love the ceramic (?) dog and its ability to move around the room for each shot. Brilliant!!! Also I have to agree with Taste of France with regard to the beni ourain rugs. Time to move on. But the home is beautiful and I want it so bad I would even keep the rug.

The bones of this home are spectacular. I'm less enthused about the paper globe pendant that looks like it could be from IKEA (but undoubtedly cost a fortune). Agree with Taste of France about the light fixture in the "kitchen." You can see a bit more of it in the fifth shot, but would love a close up. It's reminiscent of a cherry blossom tree.
