It's very nice. Lots of antiques but not stuffy. Not trendy either--one wouldn't get tired of it after a few years.

If I were a contestant on one of those TV renovation shows in which a bunch of imbeciles tear the soul out of, say, a 1920s industrial building, I'd make my apartment look like this.
I suspect that simple, timeless elegance wouldn't go down well with the producers.
This house is perfect. So serene, elegant, and classic, and yet filled with just enough bold fabrics, patterns and art to make it feel modern. Just fabulous. I would love to live there.

What a beautiful home! My favorite thing about moving (there has to be one positive out there, right?) is the opportunity to re-imagine your decor and style. Hubby and I are moving from a small apartment in the Heights area of Houston, TX to our forever home in Cypress, TX. We are one of the first to move to this not-yet-fully-developed neighborhood and jumped at the opportunity to buy the lot next to ours to meet our dream of having a big yard for the future kiddoes to play. I would like to decorate the interior to match the country feel we have tried to create with our outdoor surroundings. These photos are great inspiration! Already found some framed pressed flowers online...
