Today's post is in memory of Minnie, my sister's cat who was diagnosed with cancer several months ago and was given about 3 months to live. Well, she long surpassed the 3 months but it isn't looking good so today she will be leaving us.
We'll miss you Minnie XOXO
That's Minnie on the left and her buddy Carl on the right.
Also, please say a little prayer for my sweet Felix. He's going in for exploratory surgery because after 4 different tests, we still don't know why he has lost so much weight over the past year. :(
Sending you a pic of my two lovely pets, Ozzy and Pepe. They are seen relaxing on the couch....the house is theirs....they can do whatever they want but I must say they are really well behaved, very intelligent and loving.

Do you remember Twizzel? She passed away a year ago. She was posted on your website too.
:( RIP Twizzel
This is my new fur baby Kiwi.

My thoughts are with sweet Minnie and her family. Hoping for the best possible outcome for dear Felix.
Hoping for the best for the precious little Guy
My thoughts also with Minnie and her family. Prayers and thoughts for you and Felix.
They are all beautiful... Prayers for Minnie and your dear Felix.
I had a most pragmatic country friend who said, not unkindly, "Pets never last long, that's what they're for." She meant that they eased children into realising the cycle of life, and the importance of being kind at all stages, not just to appealing puppies and kittens.
Doesn't make it any easier though...
Thank you for posting Soetkin again and sorry to hear about the difficult times you and your sister are having.
Much comfort to your sister and hope Felix is going to feel better very soon.
Thank you so much for posting Barry <3 . Kisses
Thank you all for the sweet comments about Minnie and Felix. Tricia, yours was especially meaningful.
Felix is recuperating at the vets overnight - so far nothing too serious was found. An enlarged lymph node and some cysts were found, and possibly intestinal issues.
My sister Jen is having a pretty rough time with the decision to let Minnie go. They had a special bond and it's going to take some time to get used to Minnie's absence. Luckily her 2 children are pretty young and don't really understand what happened.
Heartfelt support for Minnie and Felix, and you good people who have given them life, love and home.
Thank you all for sharing such wonderful pets- and peace and love to those who have lost a furry being that we love like family.

My thoughts are with Minnie and your sister. I know how much pain this can be. One year after and it still hurts a lot.
All the best for Felix.
