Stalking on a Saturday

Walking past this building might tweak your curiosity but with its high castellated walls and frosted glass you would never catch a glimpse of what is inside. A business perhaps. Offices maybe. You would never suspect the spectacular 4 level home that lies behind its pale grey walls. I'm real estate stalking in Paddington, Sydney and I'm scheming and dreaming as to how I could ever raise the millions of dollars to buy this spectacular house. From its sun wells and indoor outdoor living filling white walled rooms with glowing light, to the stunning staircase winding sinuously higher, to the master suite with Ken Done painting above the bed and fire place on its own terrace to the upper level with its panoramic iconic Sydney views this is one house I would love to see in person because I'm sure the photos don't do it justice. The renovation design is by X.PACE and you can see their photos of it here. Someone in Sydney please attend an open house and let us all know how fabulous it really is. Link here while it lasts.

It was an old pub converted into a home. It looks amazing. I doubt they are having open inspections.

There seems to be a list of viewing times but you probably have to leave a child as a security deposit. Beautiful home.

Stunning architecture and amazing combination of indoor and outdoor. The lamps in the kitchen are too big and too low.
Beautiful bathrooms and cute little Gervasoni nook.

An enticing bit of real estate porn for sure... But the ridiculous excess of a five-car garage with auto turntable sorta killed it for me. That's just gross.

Ah...the memories of many rollicking evenings spent at the Windsor Castle in Paddo!

I have been looking for a slipcovered sofa or sectional with a looser, floor length slipcover (preferably with those french seams) and have been having trouble. The one pictured is perfect (and likely out of budget, but one can dream). Anyone recognize where this piece is from?

Thanks!
