Matt Garcia Design - Sunny Slope remodel

Originally built in 1951 by Edwin Pfluger, this midcentury modern home in Austin was remodeled and is now a hip pad that is far from a blast from the past. From the fantastic landscaping to the bright all-white kitchen, this home has it all. Designed by Matt Garcia Design. I live in a 50's /Mid Century modern and I hate it but I love it. Every room is mostly windows .. light and views are always there, everywhere ... luckily I am out in the country where neighbors are not looking in . To sit in the dining room and watch the deer robbing the birdfeeders is a fun sight :)

I too like the outdoor areas, particularly the first courtyard shown. The whole house is light and airy, lovely.

Everything here is so gorgeous, except for the cabinet handles, which look run-of-the-mill and dated. But all else is superb.

I agree with KathW, what an amazing space but handle free doors would have looked so much better, there is great storage but the handles look cluttered and stand out for the wrong reasons. The colour of the sofa is lovely.

Hi

Where is your breakfast room table and blue chairs from? I love them!

I would love to know where the dining chairs are from.
