Salon Drab by Farrow & Ball

Salon Drab is one of my favourite colours Farrow & Ball has launched this month. It is such a moody, deep, rich brown that I would have used in my bedroom if I had not already painted it Mouse's Back. (I once had a chocolate brown bedroom and LOVED it). I thought I would share some photos that have me dreaming about this perfect shade of dark brown.

I'm having a hard time falling for this shade... I think "drab" is the operative word. I'm much more partial to F&B's "Tanner's Brown", although I notice they're replaced all the wonderful names with numbers on their website. Whatever, Farrow & Ball rules the color world.

Yum! I love it. So, comfy, cozy, unpretentious, grounded and calming. Perfect backdrop for Jo's awesome Oceania treasures. I remember seeing that corner before and loving it. Oh, and I very much want to crawl into bed with those luscious linens. Yup. Thanks.

These look perfect for winters. Not sure of the summers as they look too comfy.
