For the nineteen years I've had my dogs (greyhounds) I have not allowed them on furniture because their nails would shred upholstery and bed comforters when they made their "nest". We knew that Miss Harri Berri would sneak up onto my bed in my absence because I would find my bed pillows and comforter "rearranged" (as documented in a photo taken by my housemate and sent to you for a previous Pets on Furniture post). This is Tesla (my newly adopted greyhound girl, formerly known as "Fiat Experiment") pictured on my leather sofa. After all these years, I gave in to this sweet new girl regarding the furniture...and she even sleeps with me now. ;o)

Here is one from me: Phoebe on my Victorian embroidered grandfather chair with Bernie sleeping on the cat tree (that I typically drag out of the room whenever I take photos LOL)
