Stalking in the same street part 2

Here's my second house for the day. Remember the back story. Same suburb, same street, a few meters separate them. A timber cottage with just a touch of gingerbread about it but what's that I see? A modern extension (with self-contained studio) and a glass pool! It's almost tipping the balance in favour of this home. Which one is your favourite? Sandstone or gingerbread?
