Eclectic on a Sunday
Today I am sharing some eclectic British decor because frankly, I think Brits really know how to do it right. A little traditional English mixed with some mid-century and boudoir chic in a beautiful Victorian home makes for some yummy eye candy. Via JJ Locations. (P.S. Today is day 2 of the Etsy/Handmade Harvest show so fi you're in Ottawa and didn't make it out yesterday you have another chance! Despite not having a chance to shop for me, I still managed to get a couple of things like this chair and this light).

I wish we had a Harvest Show like that around here- I'd certainly go to Toronto if it were a wee bit closer! In the 4th photo from the top, can anyone tell me what that contraption is next to the fridge? Looks very interesting!
The stair carpet and the hall tile made my headache but I do love this type of home.
Our friends in London live in one similar, with a fabulous garden with a pond and a little ramp so the hedgehogs can get out safely :)
If you ever plan to visit London, Kim, ou really should book the Livingetc house tours . This one was also on the route!
Your photos transported me back to my childhood this morning. I remember fondly our family's visits to England where I frequently slept in attic rooms with fine floral-printed wallpaper and plump duvets. Thank you!
Oh my, that cozy little alcove! I'd love to curl up in that with a good book on a chilly fall day. Or a winter day with the snow falling outside the window... man, I'm getting excited for fall and winter just thinking about that.
