Textured minimalism

Slick brick, textured minimalism, an emphasis on construction, on materials, on details. Raw and rough becoming more sophisticated, smoother as you progress through this prewar loft in NYC’s Greenwich Village. By Raad.

So delightful place to live in. I do love the texture of the bookshelves combining with the bricks wall. few days ago I have just down the same things with my lots books but with white wall background.
Besides I am not very knee about here the children's room. The rest are great.

Great old brick! I love that you can see how things had changed over time...where old window/doors had been, then bricked over. The low natural edge shelf looks perfect against the brick.
It's nice to see the tv placed at the right height for comfortable viewing and it looks better low. We see so many spaces where the tv is ridiculously high. That's as bad as art placed too high.
Some of the finishes are a little hard-edged and sterile. But, I think I could make do. Ha

I love all of this, but I especially love how minimalist the kitchen is. That under-cabinet lighting is just awesome!
