Stalking a boho terrace in Bondi
I haven't had much luck stalking real estate lately but today I have found a lovely family home in Bondi, Sydney. Light wells and changes of levels, interesting use of materials and a fab, relaxed boho feel. Not that most Australians will be able to afford this home. The medium price of Sydney houses reached $1 million this week. Apparently now more expensive than London. And this house will go for a lot more than that at auction. Ouch! Will the bubble burst soon? The architect is Dennis Rabinowitz of JPRA Architects and the link is here while it lasts.
P.S. Watch the video. It gives a much better idea of the flow of the house. Just excuse the very Australian accent.

Nice house. I loved his accent, but had to laugh when he said, "Architecturally designed by one of Sydney's leading architects." I think that's commonly known as "broker babble".
This place (including the location close to shops and beach) makes my heart sing! Beautiful. As for the accent, I eventually learned to understand Australian/Kiwi from my beau, so I love it!
I have to say that Aussies really have it going on when it comes to blending old and new architecture. You continue to show us unique, beautiful and creative remodels. Sadly, I haven't seen much in the US done with such an artistic eye and attention to detail.
Around here I see a lot of "remuddles."
The bathrooms and pink details in rooms are gorgeous!
Lots of love, xx
