Monday's pets on furniture

If you would like to send me photos to include in next week's pets on furniture post, please ensure your photos follow these basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, if the photo is too dark or unfocused it may not make the cut. Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to kim[at]desiretoinspire[dot]net. Thanks!

This is our french bulldog son named "Demetrio" at home:

My miniature poodle Lola poses in front of the bookcase.

I snapped this photo with my phone last week while I was taking a break from the sofa (I was really sick for about 8 days straight). My spot was taken in merely minutes - by Milo, Felix and Mimin along the back. Best seat in the house I guess, especially when I warmed it up for them.

Oh my gawd...I can't believe I missed this post on Monday. Pets on furniture is my favorite! These babies are beautiful...all of 'em!
Demetrio has some fantastic ears and feet!

Cate, You broke my heart with your comment. I have a senior baby with mounting problems too and I have been through it before. It is heartbreaking...no, make that devastating. Wishing your baby the best. All we can do is love them while they are with us and honor them by adopting someone else when they leave us. It not replacing, it's not forgetting, it's in remembrance and rescuing another being. We know we NEVER forget!
I hope everything happens in the best way possible.
