A condo remodel

Anastasia Faiella sent along some photos of a project she worked on this past year. It is the remodel of a 2200 sq ft condo in the Russian Hill Area of San Francisco with absolutely glorious views (including the Golden Gate bridge!). Anastasia's client deemed this her "dream home" so she went all out, including all new custom furnishings. Dream home indeed! I would be happy with just that rooftop deck! I love that the kitchen is not large but it is so well planned that it even hosts a large flat screen TV AND a fireplace. Great job Anastasia! (P.S. Check out more of her work here and here)

This is such a great looking remodel! I especially like that everything is mostly monochromatic -- it looks like you just have yellows, then white and black. I think that it really makes everything look neater and cleaner, which is really good. For a couple of years, my husband and I have been wanting to remodel our home, and I like some of the things that you have done here. I especially like the kitchen cabinets and the dining set. I'll see if I can get something like this done in my own home!

Dear desire to inspire first of thank you so much for the post and for sharing this project on your blog! It was a really wonderful design opportunity for my firm and I was lucky to have had such a wonderful client!

This note is for the reader above-
Dear Julie,
thank you for your comments. Yes this interior design scheme reflected the client's wish for a light and airy feel with pops of color here and there. The client also really liked interested textures and natural materials. For example all of the textiles used in this design are linen, cotton blends. The hard surfaces are all natural stones, fireplace surround in marble. My firm also had all of the furnishings custom made to fit the space.
Good luck with your remodel project!
Anastasia
