So true. We are about 2/3rds through our reno and it's so satisfying putting things we like together, to hell with trends! You have to live with your home for years so make it what you love I say (well what you love and can afford HAHA my wishlist is a mile long).
I find much to love about this space, and could easily move right in. The color sense and industrial vibe just for starters. But I don't see it as a rejection of trends. Le Corbusier LC4 chaise? Check. Arco floorlamp? Check. Serge Mouille fixture? Check. Arne Jacobsen side chairs? Check. Noguchi lamp, Hermés throw pillow and chic mid-century ceramics? Check and mate. Looks to me like a significant portion of their budget went to iconic "must-have" pieces.
The added touch of aqua around takes away from the dark aspects of the design. Wonderful job!
Spot on Jared and hence my use of "irony" in the title :)
I totally agree. I particularly like the turquoise white picture/photography/painting in the bedroom. Can someone please tell me who it is by and where I could get similar works from? Thank you!
Love the combination of those doors with the totally modern design!!
Lots of love, xx
If I put pictures of dead cats on throw pillows is that an anti-trend?
