Stalking a modernist gem
One of Australia's most significant post-war houses has been listed for auction and of course I'm stalking it. Boyd Baker House, was designed by one of Australia's most significant Modernist architects, Robin Boyd in 1966. Since then it has had only two owners. Perhaps I could sell my soul to the devil to become the third. Maybe I can rob a bank before the auction at the end of the month. Perhaps I can just be content to stare at the pictures and wish its new owner well. Lucky sod. Link here while it lasts.

Wow! I'd love to own a house like that!
But ... is the furniture on the pictures really in the rooms? It looks a bit like photoshopped in there. Just a feeling...
I thought the furniture looked weird too, but I think it's just the unfortunate use of wide-angle lens/HDR. A Marshmallow couch should never be multicolored...
...too bad if there's a bush fire !
