More from Sarah Lavoine

It's no secret that Kim and I love Sarah Lavoine's work. LURVE. Interior designer crush. This Parisian apartment with her signature blue providing the colour drama is just about perfect. French style that is oh so chic.

Incredible work, as usual from Sarah Lavoine... In addition to be utterly talented and a gorgeous woman, did you know that she is a Polish princess and happens to be married to one of France's favorite singers and actors? Some people really seem to have it all :)

I try to figure out why this home looks so much warmer and has so much more personality than the last ones from Lux Design. Hm......... ?

Incredible work and amazing woman. I just love her style and how she always manage to make every place chic and modern-looking. I didn't know she is a Polish princes. This is very interesting fact :)

It looks amazing BUT all those black cupboards, black stairs and black furniture ..... the DUST shows immediately after you've dusted! I really wish I hadn't done black stairs - they are lovely looking down but as you walk up and your eyes level with each tread, it's there again DUST!!!

I guess if she's a Polish princess, she doesn't live in my world!

While there are some nice ideas and covetable pieces in there, the overall impression is that she lacks a sense of restraint and has no idea when to stop. Too many discordant, trendy finishes and way too much "aren't I clever?". Good design doesn't mean packing every idea you have into one space. In ten years time people will look at this place and say, "that is soooo 2014."

The parisian Lavoine's flat over the Jardin des Tuileries, le Louvres and le Musée d'Orsay.
Only 1 year and a half in this place and she's thinking about moving.
