The Boatsheds

It sits like three boatsheds close to the beach. Walls and windows lift and open, close and slide allowing the outside in and its occupants to reconfigure the space to suit. Simple black exteriors belie the skilfully layered timber interiors. Takapuna Beach, Auckland house by Strachan Group Architects.
