Hydeaway house

Have you ever wondered what the vacation home of an architect might look like? Neil Schwartz of Schwartz and Architecture designed this Hydeaway house in Sonona, California for himself, his spouse and their dogs, with the hopes of eventually retiring here. It's 2000 sq ft of midcentury modernism on one acre surrounded by vineyards. The main house sleeps six and a separate guest house sleeps two. Oh - and you can rent it. :-) 

I took note of the narrow windows such pictured above - a superb idea when your views are crap (not the case here!) but you need more light.
