The Line Hotel

The Line Hotel, Koreatown, Los Angeles. Hip and happening, housed in a mid-century building designed by Daniel Mann Johnson + Mendenhall in 1964. Restored, renovated and re-imagined with interiors by Sean Knibb. Raw, repurposed and rockin'.

I was just there last week to review Roy Choi's new restaurant Pot! The vibe is soooo cool with lots of exposed concrete, geometric communal benches and hip happenin' bar to boot! Been living in Ktown for almost a year now and I swear this place is vibin' with such great local energy I'm happy that the Line is getting the exposure they deserve! Such a relevant and timely post Jo!

Wonderful . Thank you for sharing.

So much to love -- exposed concrete, unique lighting choices, amusing mid-century touches -- blank plastic bottles? :) -- and perfect furniture choices. I'm glad to see everything oriented towards the view, that was an inspired, modern choice. HATE the lumpy blue tables. Hate. Passionately.
