A Brooklyn townhouse

This townhouse in Brooklyn, renovated by Resolution: 4 Architecture, is UNREAL. Period moldings, tall windows bathing each room in glorious light, hardwood floors I am completely envious of, and an addition at the rear with my favourite black multi-pane windows (is there a name for these in the photo above?)...it's a beautiful combination of old and new. Just how I like to mix things up.

I'm obsessed with the chandelier in the orange dining room!

It's incredible how much a rug can do for a room.

These windows are steel casement windows, I think. I wanted something similar for my apartment when we gut renovated, and we were quoted something like $10k each (custom). Gulp.

GREAT place - nice mix of traditional and modern, and lovely variation of light quality throughout the home. xo
