How we live
It is a nice change of scenery to see spaces with PEOPLE in them. And pets of course. Because gawd forbid someone actually LIVE in all these perfectly styled spaces like we so often feature. HOW WE LIVE. A simple yet brilliant concept. Dogs hovering around the dining table hoping food will appear. A kid jumping on a bed or sofa. A woman rifling through a stack of decor mags.... Photos by one of my favourite photographers Melanie Acevedo.

I'd love to see a 'before and after' shoot one day - before the stylists get in there and spruce the place up. It would be interesting to see the difference.
Photo#4 and 9: Are people like them when they're home? Look at them -- they're too pretty and all glammed up to be staying home!
All of these photos were staged. But one would know which ones are a little bit realistic.
How we live? Yeah, as if. More like: how a stylist imagines people should live and then get models to pose in sometimes mildly annoying ways, blah, blah, blah.
#8 and #9 are quite possibly the stupidest images i have ever seen. the guy is hiding a bald spot by frumping up his hair, she obviously has never eaten a single piece of cake in her entire life for fear of gaining one mg of fat. look how confused she is by what is in her right hand - "what is that", she thinks, "a multi-coloured alien, a googoogagga, do i wear it on my head or my lapel, do i need to stab it to death with this fork ... i dunno folks, looks weird to me!"

Do you know the woman in #9? If not, you have no right to judge her like this.
PLEASE do not be so ignorant to think that "regular" sized people never eat sweets because they are afraid to get fat. Educate yourself.
