The villa

Abandoned for years this late Victorian era house and stables in Fitzroy, Melbourne has been reinvented by Nest Architects. The remaining two original rooms open into a thoroughly modern family home with overlapping rooms as opposed to strictly open plan allowing for public and intimate spaces. A cleverly designed home filled with the owners eclectic furniture and art. Personality plus.

Wow! Bravo Nest Architects. Especially love the vibrant art collection and the knotted chair by Marcel Wanders for Cappellini in the master bedroom. If anyone loves it as much as we do, you can purchase it on 1stdibs: https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/seating/lounge-chairs/knotted-chair-marcel-wanders-cappellini/id-f_945746/
